Meguro ward
¥128,000 + ¥8,000 admin
Japan's Immigration Services Agency asked 8,874 adult foreign residents where they turn when daily life gets difficult. The answer is not an app, and it is not a government portal.
turned to a Japanese friend for help
had used the government's own support portal
didn't know where to ask a public body at all
Nobody wants another portal. Everybody wants a friend who knows how Japan works. That's the entire product.

One contact in your messenger. Three things it does.
No app, no portal, no onboarding form. You send a message; Kai does one of three things.
Paperwork, in order, for you specifically
Tell Kai your goal — "I'm moving from Kawaguchi to Setagaya" — and get a Procedure Pack: every step in dependency order, at which counter, with which forms, what to bring. Every fact cited to the official source, with the date it was retrieved.
¥1,500–3,000 per pack
Phone calls in Japanese, made for you
Clinics, small restaurants, salons, movers — daily life here is phone-only and Japanese-only. Kai calls in polite keigo and always opens by saying it's an assistant calling on your behalf. Confirmed booking → confirmation page + calendar file.
¥300–500 per confirmed booking · first free
Knows exactly when to stop
When a question crosses into visas, legal disputes, tax, or medical territory, Kai doesn't improvise. It builds your Escalation Pack — chronology, document index, translation checklist — and routes you to a licensed professional. The referral itself is always free.
Pack ¥5,000–10,000 · referral always ¥0
The lines Kai never crosses
- Never decides your immigration eligibility, or gives legal, tax, or medical advice. Those questions trigger the escalation flow, not an improvised answer.
- Never calls your bank, immigration, or an insurer pretending to be you. Every call Kai makes opens with the assistant disclosure — and it doesn't call regulated institutions in your name at all.
- Never asks for or accepts your passwords, banking logins, or My Number. There is no flow in the product that takes them.
- Never promises an outcome. No "your visa will be approved." Anyone promising you that is selling something else.
- Always cites the official source and retrieval date for every procedural fact.
- Always preserves Japanese originals alongside translations — only the originals have legal effect.
- Always hands you to a licensed professional the moment the stakes demand one — free, as Japanese law requires (Attorney Act, Art. 72).
These aren't fine print. They're written into the product's code, and they're the reason you can trust it.
Pay per outcome, not per month
